Jonathan Komar, MD, practices rehabilitation medicine at AZ Spine Disc and Sport in Phoenix, Arizona. In his work with patients there, Jonathan Komar, MD, focuses primarily on treating spine injuries. He is accordingly a member of the North American Spine Society.
The North American Spine Society works to advance medical understanding of the spine and facilitate high-quality spine care for patients in North America and beyond. It supports research and education programs, as well as changes in public policy, that further the interests of physicians and patients alike. Each summer, the Spine Society holds a special meeting to discuss the direction of spinal care in a multidisciplinary setting. The Summer Spine Meeting is smaller than the organization's annual meeting but offers a more intimate and collaborative environment for physicians and scientists. Participants discuss spine care topics during debates, case-based presentations, and courses that qualify for continuing medical education credits. The 2017 Summer Spine Meeting will be held July 26-29 in San Diego, California. Registration is open now at www.spine.org/ssm.
